What is the torque pounds one should tighten the wheels on a standard 5200# axle Combination Trailer?

For steel wheels, the torque to tighten is 90 foot pounds. For Aluminum, either Mods or Black Lynx Star Wheels, the torque is 120 foot pounds.
*****Note – Per MTI warranty policy – it is the responsibility of the customer to check their wheel lugs as stated on the warning sticker on the trailer.  For safety and peace of mind, keep checking your trailer wheels and lug nuts so they are properly secure and tight.

What Type of Warranty Does MTI Provide for Their Trailers?

MTI provides a 3-year overall warranty on the trailer, except for light bulbs.  The Steel Frame Z-Tech Undercoating has a 5-year warranty, and the Standard Advantech flooring has a 10 year warranty.

E-Track is a unique and economical way of allowing a customer to tie-down multiple number of items within your trailer, either on the floor or walls. MTI’s unique and attractive E-Track style is recessed and welded to the frame.

Is it possible to have smooth, seamless sides on my Trailer?

Yes. If you plan to utilize detailed graphics on your trailer or just want that smooth seamless look, we highly recommend going with a .040 aluminum thickness upgrade as it is stronger, makes for a better bonding process and will make your trailer look beautiful.

****Please Note – colors available for a .040 aluminum thickness upgrade are limited to White and/or Black. If you wish to have another color, it is a special custom order per quote.

What is the most popular Solid or Two-Tone Colors of Combination Trailers sold by TOCT?

TOCT has a number of Standard 27’ and 29’ Solid and Two-Tone Color Combination Trailers in stock or in production at all times.  Each TOCT customer has the opportunity to customize and special order their trailer to the desired specifications and requested options.

What is the Range of Size and Length of the Combination Trailer?

The Combination Trailer can range in size from 8.5’ wide x 19-35’ in length. It can be built in either a round top or flat top roof. In Round Top Models, there is an even number trailer box size (18’, 20’, 22’, 24’ etc.) plus a 5’ V-Nose. In flat top models, it is the same even number box size plus a 6’ V-Nose.

For Australian customers, your road laws limit the width of a Combination trailer to 8 feet. TOCT and MTI have created a special customized frame design that allows maximum width and interior space.

What is the Standard Size Axles in the Combination Trailer?

From 25-29’ models, tandem 5200# axles are standard, depending upon payload. From 19-23 feet, unless hauling a car, tandem 3500# axles may be utilized for hauling motorcycles, ATV’s and/or snowmobiles, although consider the road conditions or terrain. For 31’ Models, triple 5200# or tandem 6000# axles are recommended. For 33’ or 35’ models, a minimum of triple 5200# axles is standard.
